Glass Balustrades for a Modern Reception Area

We had the privilege of designing an interior remodel to freshen up the reception and landing area for a two-storey office space. The interior fit-out featured the combination of two glass balustrades, the Glass Button and Frameless systems.

The design:

Our customer’s goal for this project was to modernise their commercial space and enhance safety without compromising the natural light that flows in the building. We opted for the Glass Button balustrade all around the staircase with an added slotted handrail to enhance safety.

Modernising your reception or office area with glass railings adds a touch of luxury while the durable and long-lasting glass offers transparency with unobstructed visibility which enhances safety for potentially hazardous areas like staircases.

For the top floor, we opted for the stunning Frameless glass balustrade all around the landing area, designed handrail-free and reinforced with a stiffener for added rigidity.

To ensure durability and safety for the second floor, the glass used in this installation was heat-soaked, a process that enhances the glass’s strength and resistance to breakage. This treatment also reduces the risk of spontaneous shattering, making the glass more resilient.

When it comes to adding aesthetic appeal to your office space, glass balustrades are unmatched. They add an air of sophistication to any interior and can transform a simple office reception into a work of art. For this project, the staircase became the focal point for the whole building.
