Our impressive commercial stainless steel and glass balustrades
In 2021 and 2022 we worked on many commercial projects throughout the UK. Our in-house fully trained CAD technicians, surveyors, fabricators, and the fitting team all have years of experience manufacturing balustrades for commercial buildings, installing and working with architects and project managers to achieve the best and safest result.
Our team is looking back at some of our favourite and most impressive commercial projects. It was very hard to narrow the list down but here are some of our favourites and why:
This black powder coated professional balustrade system with a square top rail was installed by our team. It’s one of 2022’s favourites because we loved combining the best elements of the Professional and Square system. Plus, the balustrade was installed in a beautiful location overlooking the lake.
This is an ongoing commercial installation for us, and we are so happy to work on this extensive project. Our team is installing powder coated Professional glass balustrades at the top of these commercial buildings, that needed safety railings all around the rooftops.
UK building regulation states that balustrades must be provided in areas where people could be at risk of falling. This may include places like rooftops, staircases, ramps, balconies and sunken areas like basements or light wells.
Compliant with building regulations our glass balustrades are extremely strong and aesthetically pleasing.
Another favourite commercial project are the above button Juliet balconies that we custom designed, manufactured and installed for this block of apartments. The glass button Juliet balcony is perfect if you are going for a more minimalistic design giving unobstructed views.
The glass provides clear unobstructed views and a minimalist, sleek appearance to enhance your property. They can also add value to your property and increase the safety around the door or window opening.
Lastly, this commercial installation at Hamble Point Marina of side fascia fixed, mirror polished, stainless steel and laminated glass balustrades for a 300-meter-long project, including stairs and ramps.
This was a challenging project that required many commercial test loadings due to its location, but our team loved every minute of the process from designing to installing.
Railings are a vital safety measure for commercial buildings and glass railings are hugely popular in commercial projects as they are not only durable and weatherproof but can also add an elegant touch to any building.
Our glass balustrades and Juliet balconies can be bespoke, made-to-measure, with different finishes and can be customised with clear, frosted, or coloured glass.
