SHS attends Grand Designs 2019 – Competition prize winner announced

SHS enjoyed one of its best exhibitions yet at Grand Designs Live 2019 at the Birmingham NEC in October.

Grand Designs Live is always a fantastic opportunity for us to show off our latest products and innovations to members of the trade and public alike.

The show gives us a chance to demonstrate our products to a wide audience, whether they are renovating, building a new home, adding the finishing touches, or just looking for a little inspiration!

The eye-catching SHS stand was a big hit, too:

Prize winner announced

Those who visited us at the show will be aware that we were giving away a stunning prize in a draw – £2,500-worth of glass balustrades!

The lucky winner was Streetly Lawn Tennis Club in Sutton Coldfield, which will be using the balustrades to provide the perfect finish to its new spectator viewing area, as per the plans below.

The spectator viewing gallery is part of a larger development at the club, including an extension to the existing clubhouse that incorporates a new entrance, the new balcony/viewing area, and floodlights on the club’s two remaining unlit courts.

The work is starting in November 2019, with the glass balustrades due to be installed in January 2020. We’ll keep you up-to-date with progress once our balustrades are installed there!
