SHS Products Nominated for Excellence Award!

If you haven’t already heard, SHS Products have been announced as finalists for the Excellence in Manufacturing & Engineering award part of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce 2016 Awards.

What are the BCCC Awards?

The BCCC Awards are annual awards that celebrate the best in business from across the region. The aim of the awards is to recognise talent, hard work and potential within local businesses. SHS have been nominated for the Excellence in Manufacturing and Engineering award. Fantastic!

From 2005 to now in 2016; SHS has seen tremendous growth. We cannot thank our customers enough for choosing us in the first place and for coming back. We also must give a round of applause to our sales, design, manufacturing and marketing departments for increasing brand awareness, giving customers the best advice, quality products and keeping SHS at the top of the industry. The past few years have seen incredible growth with 52.92% in 2014, 19.67% in 2015 and 21.08% in 2016.

In just the last 2 months, we’ve created 5 new job roles. In the last 12 months, we’ve moved premises; from 10,000 sq. ft to 25,000 sq. ft which allowed us to bring in a lot of new machinery. Following this, SHS brought the glass production in-house, joined the Federation of Master Builders, was awarded the TrustMark certification and after investing so much time, money and effort into the growth of the business… our hard work has paid off!

With the SHS product lines expanding all the time, customers are finding out just how vast the balustrade possibilities are. From the new Glass Canopies that grace outside doorways to the Open Air Balustrade which not only serves as a regular balustrade but expands to protect clientele from windy weather… The ranges and fantastic service offered by SHS Products remains the UK’s favourite.

The award winners are scheduled to be announced at a prestigious awards dinner. It will be held in Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday 18th November 2016.
