SHS wire rope balustrade systems featured on Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh.

Our Wire Rope balustrade was used as part of a fantastic cruise ship inspired pleasure garden. This was created in Eastleigh near Southampton; for Rosie Mitchell, a truly inspirational person.

Alan’s team easily assembled the Stainless Steel Wire Rope Balustrade.

Rosie has been a pediatric nurse for over 30 years and has always gone the extra mile for her patients and their families.

She not only touched the lives of thousands through her care but has raised over £1.5 million for a charity to help the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Southampton. The funds raised have paid for ambulances, incubators and have helped save lives.

Rosie’s cruise ship inspired garden included a pirate-themed sandpit jungle gym for her grandchildren to play in, a spa cabin for her to relax in and a bow-shaped deck where she could enjoy family meals. Rosie can now sit back and survey her beautiful garden with its bespoke water feature and greenery. We were more than happy to donate the Wire Rope balustrade system to the show for Rosie who has inspired us all.
