SHS Wire Rope Used in BBC Gardeners’ World Live GOLD Award

The NEC, Birmingham, was the venue for the 2018 BBC Gardeners’ World Live exhibition. We were not exhibiting directly at the show, but we did have some involvement in one of the stands.

The very talented Rupert Keys of Keyscape Landscape Design & Construction Ltd contacted us about his upcoming project. Rupert asked us to supply our Stainless Steel Wire Rope components, and after seeing the concept drawings and hearing more about his plans, SHS were delighted to supply them!

We were even more excited to see the innovative design from Richard and Martyn Wilson, of Wilson Associates Garden Design, come to life.

After the show, Rupert and Martin sent us some images, and this is how their brilliant exhibit was displayed.

The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) returned to the show with five show gardens on APL Avenue. Using the SHS Stainless Steel Wire Rope system as a vertical trellis, Rupert and Martyn received the Gold Award from the APL.

I’m sure you’ll agree they deserved it!
